Observation Reflections:
In this reflection, I work with two writing activities presented in my recent middle school placement; I use these activities to analyze the importance of the pre-writing process (brainstorming, drafting, and revising), and how the pre-writing process affects the final drafts of students' papers. From this analysis, students and fellow teachers will see how efficiency relates to students’ brainstorming in the classroom, and the importance of an authentic brainstorming process for student growth in writing.
